(3) -며/으며 and
This form can be alternately used with '-고', which means 'and'.

이슬람교의 신은 알라이며 알라의 가르침을 기록한 책이 코란입니다.
The god of the Islam religion is Allah and the teachings of Allah is written in the Koran.
그 친구는 키가 크며 체격이 좋은 편이다.
That friend is tall and has a well-built body.
이 빵집은 빵도 맛있으며 분위기도 좋다.
This bakery has good bread and a nice atmosphere as well.
오늘은 한때 흐리며 비도 오겠습니다.
Today will be cloudy for awhile with some rain.
유나는 예쁘며 성격도 좋다.
Yuna is pretty and has a good personality.


(4) 절대 -지 않다(말다) never
This form is used to express the strong negation.

힌두교를 믿는 사람은 절대 소를 먹지 않습니다.
Believers of Hinduism never eat cows.
제인이는 비밀을 절대 말하지 않아요.
Jane never tells a secret.
그 아이는 엄마의 말을 절대 듣지 않아요.
That child never listens to his mother.
음식이 입 안에 있을 때는 절대 이야기하지 마세요.
Never speak when you have food in your mouth.
미나는 무서운 영화는 절대 보지 않아요.
Mina never watches scary movies.


(5) -라는/이라는 N called, named N
