Chumsungdae
Chumsungdae was built to view stars during the Shilla's Queen Sun-duk period. Each part of Chumsungdae has a symbolic meaning. There are twelve level of brick floors below and above the windows at Chumsungdae, which represents the twelve months of the year, and there are about 365 bricks used, which represents the 365 days of the year. Also, the 27 levels of brick floor represents that Queen Sun-duk was the 27th ruler of Shilla. People of the old days thought that the sky was round and ground was square-shaped, which is why the body of Chumsungdae is round and the bottom is square-shaped.

Geumsokhwalja
Geumsokhwalja(printing press) was invented during the Corea dynasty period. Before the new printing technology, books were imported from China. But as the Geumsokhwalja was invented, books were made in Korea. The printing method generally used during that time was woodcut printing, where each page of the book was entirely carved (engraved) onto the wooden board. On the other hand, with the Geumsokhwalja, letters were put together according to the content of the book, which cut down expenses. According to records, Geuksokhwalja was invented in 1230, 200 years earlier than the west. A book called, "Jik-jee-sim-chae-yo-jul" proves this fact.

Turtle Ship
The turtle ship was a battle ship made by Lee Soon Shin during the Japanese invasion period. The battle ship was shaped like a turtle, which is how it got its name. The ship shot fireballs from its mouth and because of the sharp metal protection around the back of the ship, the Japanese army could not approach the ship easily. The Chosun fighters were able to stay safe inside the ship, row, and shoot fireballs unrestrictedly. No matter how many ships attacked the Turtle Ship, it maneuvered itself around and claimed victory.
